Hello everyone,

I have husaberg FS650E 2008 with a piston 80x100 and 628cc. I was wondering
if there is some vendor who sells a piston 82x100 so to get 644cc like in husaberg
2006.

Its just 2mm stroke. Anybody can help me ?

Thanks alot,

Marco

so you want an OEM crank with 82mm stroke ? piston the same at 100?

keep the 80mm crank it is 500gm lighter and has a bigger hollow pin. the 80mm crank is a lot stiffer than the old one.

my choice of bigger engine would be to go with a JBS racing 105mm piston and linar with the OEM 80mm crank. 693cc

if thats too big he does 102mm linars and pistons too

www.jbsracing.co.uk

also does stroker cranks and I'll have one when the OEM is toast.

some guys stroke the 80mm crank, hopefully one of them can tell you more about getting that done.

yeah same piston at 100. Would like to keep same OEM crank.

My friend has this piston code, same crank, same rod lenght:

77810
820-100 Group #1

I dont know what vendor is it, but its show clearly was 82x100 reaching 644cc.

You do understand that both the 628 and 644cc pistons have the same 100mm diameter, and to attain 644cc from your engine you would need to lengthen the stroke from 80 to 82mm, correct? It could be done, however you would have to 'stroke' your crank.

i (will) do a stroker crank, i have yet to to test it but it's done. it takes it to 666cc, however, it's not viable for someone with a 628 crank unless they want to part exchange it and allow the value of one against the other. for someone with a 2001 - 2004 inc. it's a great idea....

Taffy when you have the 666 stroker kit please send me a mail/pm!!
Very interested

RE: Re: RE: 82x100 pistons

i take the big end out from 32 to 35mm. you can work the rest out bushie.

RE: Re: RE: 82x100 pistons

stop talking in riddles man!

orrite then whats the OD of the flywheels on the old 82mm stroke crank ? I don't have one lying around.

I can work out youd be able to build an 84mm stroke with a 37mm big end

now I just need a shed full of engine building machines and stuff and we can all get one for christmas

RE: Re: RE: 82x100 pistons

no, it's the throw that moves 1.5mm and you double that for the stroke....

RE: Re: RE: 82x100 pistons

This whole thread got me thinking, My fe600 already has an 84mm crank.... I really ought to look for a matching (~) 100mm piston and liner.

ah so your just nudging the pin out a tad and keeping one edge of the pin bore in the flywheels hmm why not move it a little more ?

and.. for ash2ash why not move the 35mm pin in the 80mm crank out 1mm ?

sounds scary i guess.

Taffy have you got a rough price in mind for your frankencrank?

taffys onto re boring the big end pin bores bigger and increasing the throw at the same time without having to add any material to the crank webs, so just removing it instead of adding then reboring

pretty sure you could leave it at 82 and it should be easier from a machining point of view. I'd like to see the setup that rebores the holes with a little offset it would have to be one ridgid Mfo boring bar

"boring bar"? jeez! drainpipe jeans, mullets, the jackson 5, slide rules?

LOL!!!!!

let ya'll know!

Intersted in dis. Is it wiv da newer rod wiv 35mm pin? Guessin it must be. If is how'd u cope wiv the rod bein 1mm longer + extra stroke pushin piston out of top of bore? Must u pack up the head?

i'll say no more. i wish i had said nothing anyway now. jeez! how did i get into this anyway....

anyway, i will sort a price and i will still say nothing!

my fat gob...

thought you'd just hold it up to the light and use a die grinder or a wood router

I dont unstd wot u mean :?:

I intrested in price but for wot? How u gettin over length thing? I wanna price for sommink wot werks not sum mad crazy idea you av? But not tried.

Can't you tel us, must we have packer? or is it a diff' rod or sommink else? How long do it last?

4 a 666 on 100 pist' you need 85 stroke. Is that right? do the botm da rod clear cases or must u grind rod off? How thick is it in end/ Will it snap?
