815 cases?

lads i am desperate for a set of 2004 and onward 650 cases/engine and i saw these tonight:

i reckon they are from the 550?

what you all reckon?

tis from 550 or something else but not 650 I have both in my shed

look for relative dimensions on the barrel the bit where husaberg is cast into the barrel and the bit that sticks out up near the deck is about 1:1 right?

on the 650 its near 2:1

Engine number tells us they are 2005 550 cases.

If they were a 650 set I'd be bidding :lol:

the numbers you gave the doc, when looking up the parts book = don't add up

parts book:
501/550 = 800
450 = 810
650 = 820

Taff,
I believe you will find,in relation to engine capacity:
800 denotes 501
815 denotes 550
You can double check this in the crank , piston and liner sections in the 05 parts manual.

\But of course, until a dealer confirms all this in relation to engine number (as I have suggested in the previous threads) it aint gospel :wink:

Im suprised no ones ever confirmed or discredited the above info?.
