70' fuel tank tubes & wires

Hi everyone,
I've recently purchased a 2009 FE450 & have replaced the in-tank fuel pump & filter as part of my preventative schedule.
TBH, I was horrified with the complexity of hoses & wires contained (& apparently needed) within the tank ... I'm wondering if anyone has simplified this on their bike...?
Thanks in advance ... Andy

I will be getting rid of the in tank filter altogether.

I run a fuel sock at the neck. I run the ZipTy filter at the quick disconnect. I remove the cone filter at the injector as the ZipTy run the same 20 micron filter.

I cleaned the Golan 10 micron in the ZipTy yesty and was surprised by what it had caught.

I've ended up basically connecting the fuel pump lines (fuel & electrical) directly to the outlet - have kept the in-line in-tank filter. There's still plenty of length available, although the outlet will need to be removed if the fuel pump is to be removed again in the future.
Cheers ... Andy
