While getting ready for a good ride in the coastal range of Oregon tomorrow, I noticed the hour meter on my bike shows 66.6.
Is this the mark of the devil?
Should I be concerned of some unknown lurking doom or should my buddies be concerned of hellish amounts of roost packing their goggles from the beast unleashed from the mighty 550?

 log

You got it right Rick.
666 is known as "The number of the Beast" (Book of Revelation). In this case let's just assume that the "beast" is your 550.

Last weekend I decided to take my friend's ATK for a spin. While sitting there letting her warm up a bit, I looked at the odometer and it showed 666.0 miles. So I rode around a few blocks and got it up to 667 and went back home and made a sandwich. I felt much better taking off across the desert without those digits staring me in the face. I guess I'm superstitious! Maybe it was those nuns at the Catholic schools I attended.

WELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! My Racing Number is 666 (number of the beast, hmmm makes sense when you say it out loud, since it is a FE666e, i mean a 650, tamato patato), Haven't had any bad luck, or wait...... Dislocated clivicle, oil drain bolt melted, brake lever fell off during race, manual decomp cable snap......hmmmmmmmmmmmm......OKAY, YOU SHOULD WORRY!!!!
