What is the availability of parts for the 650SM. I am planning on buying one and curious to know that if the bike needs repair, that I will be able to find what I need for parts.

can get most things. can't get rad shrouds. there are the 2001-2003s and then the 2004-2008s. the 01-03 rod isn't available but I'll likely have a load made in the spring.
I don't see it being an issue but Americans have a low threshold for 'hastle'. If you go into a Husaberg it is hastle even when things are new and good!
