Hi guys, ANOTHER NEW MEMBER, WITH A PROBLEM

Ive been looking through a hell of a lot of post, to try and find the answer to my question, without having to ask, but with no luck, so apologies if this has already been discussed.

I have a husaberg 650 2004 with kokusam stator and ignition.
But it has no spark.
I need to know if my stator is bad, so wondering if any one knows the readings i should be getting?
It has a .. Black wire and a red wire.... Which presume is ignition,
And ...... Yellow wire and white wire which i think is power. :?

If this is not gone do you know any more tests i can do to find the problem?

Can i test the ignition coil?
Can the cdi unit be tested?

If my stator is bad do you guys know were i can get one? Or get mine rewound?

Any help would be great.

Thanks guys :bounce3: :bounce: :bounce3: :bounce: :D

Hi Danny and welcome

Give me your mail and I will send you the manual were you can see all the values.

It's easier that way

Thanks for the welcome!

I found the stator value, which is 15 ohms between black and red wire.
That is what im getting on my stator so the problem lies elsewere.

Can anyone explain how to test the ignition coil, i have read a thread but cant understand which connections to test. 8O  (i think im missing a spark in my head)

Also if the problem isnt this, is there any thing else it could be?

Just noticed, the TPS isnt connected looks like it has been chopped/pulled out right near the rubber bit.

Will this make it not spark?

Or is this a separate thing?

Thanks

Hi

The TPS will change the advace of the spark when you open the throttle, but you still have spark, so its not that.

You can even run the bike without the tps

Check everything, you have the manual on your mail
