Hello

I've found 5 Husaberg rod kits for the FC/FE600s!

they are OEM, come with little end bush fitted, a big and pin and bearing.

they are 250 each which is what they were when Husaberg stopped making them.

let me know if you want one! remember, no more are being made.....

regards

Taffy

I can't believe nobody is interested in this...

Berger, buy me one then ill send you my old one for coffee table decor.... :bounce3:

If I had the money I'm sure I would buy one spare

You just will have to stock those for some time and make money with us when we will be in despair

I think I should write to Geoff (Coronaberg) he used to have three 600s.....

I can't tell whether things are quiet due to the recession or whether bikes aren't there anymore......

I'm hoping that I haven't barked up the wrong tree by trying to look after everyone, I seem to be giving out free info and selling nothing. hopefully this can change when better times come. the pound is so strong against the Euro riught now that what is 250gbp today was 237 euros a year ago and 275 euros today.....

Don't wory the bikes are steel here, its just that the money isn't

I think that the 600's are still running in greater number than the 400's, although there were more 400's back

I would love to have one but still need to count my nickels. Making under half the wages that I made before.

here's a photo of the rod kit. I ahve three left I can grab.

I have my cases split and all that is left is to press the crank and check the rod and pin, guess i better hurry up since your are down to 3.....if i buy the rod then i wont have any money left for that sweet clutch upgrade though, so many choices so little money......my clutch is junk so if the rod is good it will have to be salvaged.

your priority MUST be inside the cases. anything else can be done afterwards!

even a good quality sprague bearing!

I'm about to announce spragues for the old and new (pre and post 2000) Huseys. we're just doing tests at the moment. but the rod MUST come before the clutch. you may even find when you split it that all you need is a pin and bearing.

well of course that is a given though, if rod is bad then ill get the kit, if they are good ill just get the roller bearing and the clutch! the sprague clutch is new already from the last owner and been working great, i think that will be getting left alone for now......hopefully it is just a bearing, obviously the stuff inside the cases is more important to be done first and the stuff outside done second.....

this job so far seems easier then first anticipated, although i am sure putting it back together and it working properly is harder than just taking it apart  my only fear is getting the shift drum aligned in the correct grooves with the shift forks during reassembly.
