Fe600 that is.... I spent some of my spare time rebuilding Tut's old '98 Fe600 and then traded him a '72 Olds 442 hood for it.
I went completely thru the engine then decided to go first class and send the Dellorto to Dale Lineaweaver for his special mod job. That turned out to be a good move.
I rode the bike for the first time last week end and was immediately impressed by the instant starting, total lack of flat spots, clean carburation, and POWER! The thing is a tractor that keeps pulling hard and strong. I have always believed that you ought to break an engine in the way it will be run so I ran the snot out of it and it is a total joy to ride.
Hats off to Dale for making it completely unnecessary for me to buy a K carb.
If the Lineaweaver cam that I bought from Dale works as good as his carb modification I can save the money I would have spent for a new Berg and invest in a bunch of new rear tires. this thing shreds tires.
Anyone want to drag race for pink slips? See ya in Phoenix.
