570 with Rekluse - hot starting in gear?

Guys, we had our first mildly warm ride of the season last week (mid 80's). I noticed that once the new 570 was running pretty hot, it struggled a few times to restart in gear. Once clicked back to neutral it was fine.

Is this just one of those things with the clutch being hot, or something that can be changed?

It may be the way the Rekluse is adjusted. I noticed that once mine is warm it engages less suddenly than when cold. Other than that mine is fine. Restarting hot or cold is no problem.

I try to start in nuetral. It does drag alittle but will usually start in gear. If your in the tight stuff and have a fan running the battery may be running alittle low.

I wouldn't think you could set the Rekluse engagement rpm low enough that the starter would engage it. I think that the resistance you feel when you push your bike with a dead engine while in gear would be similar to the resistance the starter would have trying to rotate the engine with the bike in gear. That would certainly require more amperage, I would think it would actually be less with warm oil than with cold, but extra heat from the engine will put more of a load on the starter than when cool. I would have your battery tested, and check your post I have seen broken post twice already. That too can cause the concern. I have the same set-up and mine turns over quick in gear or not.

I do notice the difference in drag when pushing the bike in neutral and when in gear, when the bike is off, but I haven't had any starting problems in gear.
