well my BOSS 2004 fe550e has climbed over the 6000 mile mark 235 hours :D :D :D :D this bike has been incredible never has left me stranded and no failures. BUZZARD helped me put in a new cam chain right before moab. i was finding a lot of aluminum in the oil and checked the tensioner and it was all the way out. the chain was way loose. cam bearings were like new. only had to replace 1 h2o pump seal (coolant side) and a kick starter shaft seal since new. valves have been spot on for 2+thousand miles now. I LOVE this motorcycle and have had an incredible amount of fun on it. been riding out of hood River OR last 2 days hope to hook up with LOGJUMP this week. bike is running awesome. forgot about the power difference riding down at this low elevation. almost pulled my arms out of their sockets and looped it.
I LOVE MY BERG, motorcyles, and wheelies
hope everyone is well

It's great to hear you've put so many trouble-free miles on in such a short time Colby. I dream of riding half those miles in a year. Maybe it's time for some re-prioritizing of my life schedule?

Maybe time to inspect the rocker arm rollers for wear.

At 4000 miles I noticed an increase of shiny bits on the drain plug magnet and the rocker arm rollers were a bit crunchy.
