501 to 350 engine swap?

Hey all, was wondering if it would be viable to swap out a 98 Fe501 engine for a 350 around the same year. Reason being, I lost a water pump seal on a long ride and consequently washed out all my bearings / Engines pretty much done for. However, I do happen to have a 350 (engine only) in near perfect condition laying around. My question is, would I able to use CDI, Coil, and Stator from the 501 on the 350 or are they totally different? I apologize for the newby question, I don't know a whole lot about these Swedish machines.

you should have the flywheel covering the stator on both your engines right?

if so then it is a straight swop. the headers will need a little adjusting and it is best to get the correct jets in it etc OK?

Thanks for the input Taffy.
The 501 has flywheel and stator, the 350 does not. Is this gonna pose a problem? I have at least 4 extra flywheels and even a brand new stator, but as I far as i know they're for the 501 (got lots of extra parts when I bought the bike).

ok, ok don't rub it in....

they fit straight over. the stator and flywheel are generic.
