450 fe engine casses

Hi can anyone tell me if the 400 eng case will fit the 450fe
I have a crack all the way across from the strater cover to where it meets the othe casing and it's pouring oil so a bit fubar me thinks.. Any help is much appreciated thanks.

hello

don't mix cases. keep them as a pair!

the 400 cases are ten a penny.

the 450 cases are a lot more expensive. the two are incompatible because one has a round ignition cover for the SEM and the other - the 450 - has a squared cover with 4 screws for the Kokusan ignition.

I have both.
