400 engine on ebay?

Hey fellow bergbrains, I'm wondering if any of you have checked out the 400 berg engine for sale on ebay. It looks ok but I'm wondering what kind of money it's worth if it is a good one. I imagine it will fit the frames on the larger bergs. On the last point feel free to correct me if

All Husaberg frames are the same for a given model year regardless of engine size.

Qualifying tidbit to add here. The bike I'd need a motor for is a 96 model. I don't know if the frames changed with the newer style bergs. Thanks for your support.

The 03 motor on E-Bay would only fit back to an 01 model.

Seems to me Wild Bill fit a late model engine into an older Berg by making custom front motor mounts. You may find some info by doing a search. Sorry I couldn't tell you just what you would need search. Maybe posts by Wild Bill or wildbill or?

I believe Bill's motor was same gen, just a non-e-start motor going into an e-start frame. Time has passed though, and I might be remembering it wrong.

If the engine is as it is represented to be,and you have the model it is for(03 fe400) it should be worth $1000.Keep in mind that it has been stripped of its ignition,carb,exhaust and electric start components.
This is one of those e-bay items which are hard to value because you cannot view all the components you are bidding on(engine internals).At its current bid of $152,it may be a bargain!
My .02cents...keep in mind I think in CDN dollars
