RE: Robin the 350 owner

So there are a few left.... Good news!
I´m probably not much help to everybody else since I´m just trying to figure out how everything worked. The bike has been in a garage since 2001.
Learning by doing and things are coming back!

RE: Robin the 350 owner

Wow! Great to know that there are some other ambitious riders out there. My FE350 was owned by a guy up the street from me. He wacked a tree with his leg riding one day about 5 years ago and hadn't been on it since! The bike is in great shape. Just need to extract a broken kick starter bolt from the shaft and repair carberator. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Steve,

I have a 1991 FE350 as well. Yes, us 350 owners still do exist!!!

I just bought a FE400 -92 and got a FE350 -92 as a "sparebike". All I have too do is put in a new cam chain and check the valves and the FE350 is ready to go!

My first Husabergs! :-D

this is fantastic .... lets change the oil and clean the air filter ... yes ?

Of course, those are the most important thing too change on a Husaberg aparently :)
Just got all the papers on the bikes and the 350 is from 1991, not that big of deal. I'm very happy anyway :bounce3:

What else is important to check on older Husabergs?
Have to share som pics of the bikes 8)

Niteman,

Wanna check your VIN? Mine 350 is a 91 also. I'm curious if they may be sisters, or cousins?

Also, I just accepted delivery (about 1 hour ago) of my 350 that has been in storage the past two years. I finally have something fun to do!!! I also got ALL my tools too. I think this is better than any Christmas, EVER!!!

PS - I guess I need to change my signature....

Parsko,

Good luck with putting your 350 back together again. I'm going to start this weekend and see what parts I have to order for my FE350. Good to have a H-berg dealer in my home town!

Do you mean FE350OM0000192?

Hey guys,
i just picked up a 91 350 yesterday, ran great and i loved it,,,,but now i cant get it to start... a friend says im just flooding it...any tips?

Best bet is to ask the previous owner. They each seem to have there own distinct starting rituals.

alright, will do!
being the idiot that i am, i tried pull starting it behind a truck lol.. paved roads without gloves dont seem to mix too well haha.
any chance it could be the spark plug on it?

Not likely. The last owner could start it..........or could he????? The last thing you want to hear from him is, I don't know how to start the beast, thats why I sold it to you

yup, when i got it, he started it first kick...
i had to learn to kick on the other side, which took me a while, but i was able to ride it around yesterday....just couldnt get it going today for some reason or another
