3/4 sightglass

hey guys,
i changed my oil with silkolene 10w 40 and added 900mls and now it shows when cold on sight glass that its 3/4 full cold!
i removed oil into a measuring jug and only got 900mls out,,,
any ideas why this silkolene does this?

Are you getting all of the oil out when you drain? Is there some trapped in the oil filter?

Am I reading correctly ? 900 mls in and 900 mls out .
Sounds perfect to me no oil usage no leaking just perfect .
Perfect would make me question it also !

you aren't mistaken. i use 900cc/ml as well although i'm in a small minority. i learnt a long time ago to keep the oil on the minimum in my bikes. once you've had a ducati you soon learn.

Taffy . i got the 900mls from you,,
i just cant understand why 900mls with sightglass half full,,
900mls with the other brand i use gives me just at bottom of sight glass when cold.
