2018 ice ride thread.

Where all the ice riding pics and vids go for this year.

First proper this year with many laps.
Perfect conditions with fully saturated ice and all the good mates
Three 570s and one 450 70 degreer out of 13 bikes.

That, looks like so much fun,awsome footage.

Never tried it, but looks wrong on such a shiney surface laying bikes over like that, ha ha.

Must be some pretty grippy spikes on tyres.

Very impressive, what happens if ya bin it and go down, must slide forever on the ice on ya butt, ha ha!!

Wow! we very rarely get blue ice like that here in Ontario, that's so perfect, would love to ride that ice sheet.

You end up on land And pushing the bike upright on the ice is very very difficult, not kidding you.
One year with similar ice I went down and there was one little lump on the whole lake and you can take a guess if my butt went over it haha.

More ice riding yesterday. This week the snow came so now its back to what it normally looks like.
Nothing fancy, just me and Juha my 570 buddy playing around

Depot life icetracking, kick a bonfire going - go out and ride - bbq - ride some more - go home for dinner A tad chilly this day but lovely views.

You "Ice-Guys" must be fully nuts - but I love to see your vids. Looks like a hell lot of fun and damn cold! Keep on posting!

Some more clips from the ice. Found some from this winter in a back-up map.
As usual just playing around with the gang having a good time and bbq-ing.
Cases broke the week after this, but now I've sourced new ones and its soon to be a fresh engine in there, same spec though as I was really happy with it, thanks Peter at FP-Engineering!
