I've just bought a 2014 250 te what is the best sprocket combination for the bike it currently has 13 front and 50 rear

Depends on what type of riding you do and what type of style you have.
My bikes have
14/48 on a 08 fe450 then switched to 15/45 for the sake of lower revs and higher speeds on the tarmac roads since i use it as a supermoto now. Huge difference in revs at higher speed.
But my other 250 2 stroke i have 13/48 wich is nice in the woods for enduro.
Id suggest to order 2 new front sprockets so you can experiment a bit for cheap budget and feel lots of differences to know see what you favor more.
