Hi, dealer fitted a new throttle cable last week, went out on bike yesterday, everything was fine, but this morning, the throttle won't retract, it will very slightly but is slow to do so, you have to twist it back into idle.

What do you guys think is the problem, is it the throttle tube?

Thanks

i dont remember reading about guys with problems with this before so i assume its not a common thing, did you special order your bike with cruise control? ok seriously now, you could find out if its the tube or cable or throttle body by disconnecting the cable from the tube and feeling for resistance or strange feeling in the tube, then pull the cable by hand from the throttle end you could determine if its somthing in the cable or throttle body, if you feel it in the cable or throttle body you will have the seperate the cable from throttle body and move them independently to determine which the cause. the cable could also be routed poorly and cause it to bind.
was sticky throttle the reason they replaced the throttle cable? your description kind of sounds like a throttle tube issue but further testing will tell for sure.....good luck
