2012 FE570S?

Has it been confirmed that Husaberg will still sell a street legal FE570 in 2012? The PR statement that for 2012 they will be "Pure Enduro" kind of suggests that they may not, and they dont show the "S" version on their website. Trying to figure if I should rush to pull the trigger on a 2011 while there are still some around or wait and see what happens for 2012. I live in California and need the bike to be plated.

Thanks

You will not see a 4 stroke 2012 berg in US too many 2011s left over. I dont think there is any difference in the 2011-2012s so not really a big deal I would find a 2011570 and just buy it

There are incentives to dealers for moving a 2011, and to buyers for buying one. Do not neglect to inquire.

FYI, the only difference between the 2011 and 2012 4-strokes is the graphics. On the 2011s it says HUSA on the left side and BERG on the right. On the 2012s it says HUSABERG on both sides. "Reading is fundamental," or something.

Looks like they are dropping the MX and SM bikes. Enduro bikes must be road legal to be designated as such as Enduros can have public road stages.

According to this article they may not be importing any more 4 strokes into the US anyway???

Take Ruger's advice and enquire about a deal on a 2011. A got a cracking deal last year on a '10 bike and saved a packet which paid for all the add-ons I wanted.

I asked About that and was told that because there was litle to no change in the bikes and the fact of all the left over 2011s they will not bring in more. Now when 2013 models come out that might change but if there is no difference then y bother bringing in more Husaberg isnt stopping the import of 4 stokes in the US they just have nowhere to put them

2 stokes are very high on demand simply because vary few people make them any more gasgas Husqvarna KTM and Husaberg oh and yamaha I think are the only ones still making a 2 stroke bike so yes they are super high in demand. Back when everyone made a 2 stoke (jap bikes) there was no shortage but now that 3 of the biggest makers quit making 2 stokes its a lot harder to get one.

Think of it this way is chevy dodge and ford quit making trucks Nissian and Toyota would be vary buesy trying to keep up with the orders
