That is pretty cool. The only thing I don't like is the way they wrote Husaberg on the shroud. Love the yellow frame!

Beautiful.

Woohoo! Looks like I finally get my Husaberg 2T (I was seriously thinking about a KTM or GasGas 2T). I love the looks of it. Looks like my 496 is for sale! Too bad it comes with that POS e-start, I wish KTM / Hbg had a "delete" option when purchasing so I didn't have to pay money for a suspect system.

Sorry, I like my Husabergs, and am considering the next generation 2 stroke, but that yellow frame is Fugly. Somehow it make the bike look dated. Perhaps it reminds me to much of a DR350 I owned years ago....But to each his own.

Oh, and it looks like it has carb hoses, so the rumors of DI appear to be greatly overestimated.

Thats funny! I was trying tofigure out what bike had a yellow frame and I thought of the DR 350 also!

Yep

ktm said several years ago that unless they were forced to go to efi to pass emissions laws then the 2st would be sticking with carbs.

so whenever i hear about efi on the 2st bikes i'll take it with a pinch of salt until i'm riding one.

I thought it was just the first year or 2 of the e-start 2st that had issues?

know a few who have 10 & 11's and love the e-start to bits.

the guys with the elec start problems on the 2 bangers are the ones who dont clean and service them, if you do this thay last forever, my 2011 te300 hasnt missed a beat, and my brothers 2009ktm 300s elec leg is still perfect.
So a little servicing goes along way.

grease on the cogs clean out the houseing, or you can do the wet mod, either way its service only takes 10mins once a month.

Good info to know. I have seen lots of unhappy posts on KTM Talk regarding the starters. Locally, I see owners grumpbling that the starter won't turn over the engines fast enough to start the bike on cold or cool days, or even at all.

Dammit I really want the DI. Looks pretty cool. I'll probably sell the 570 and get one eventually.
