2011 vs 2012 570

Hi there.
Im about to buy a 570 for bush use and for possible motard conversion.
Could anyone tell me what the basic changes were between the 2011 and 2012 models.

So the FE 390 had all the same changes as the 570 i take it?
Dosnt seem like a lot of changes between 2010 and 2012
 
Ok - so if i can get a low hour 11 a bit cheaper than a 12 that would be just a good i suppose.
I notice you have a 570 motard. Any tips on conversion?
 
Depends on what you want to do with the motard. If it's just cruising along having some fun on the streets I guess you can do like most of my friends and stick to the oem suspension. I have a race-tuned suspension setup on mine and the bike is much lower and stiffer and I really like it that way. I was a bit lucky (boring story) so I ended up with Öhlins forks that was converted into motard racing by Öhlins for me for an ok price, and the dealer converted my WP shock :)

Converting back and forth can be a bit pain after some time imo ( I ended up with two ;) ). If you have dedicated forks for the different setups it's much faster. Then you just slide out the forks with wheel and brake and push up the other set. If not you need to change wheel and brake and it's a bit more hazzle than just sliding up a new set into the tripple clamps.

What do you have in mind? Just wheels or suspension as well?
 
If want to make a FE to FS it can be expensive. If all you want is the wheels and front brake (all you really need) then just copie FS rim size 17's (easy to find tires) and widths. Crush hub rear going to be $$$$$$. your better off getting a FS and/or FE like I did. I've got a lot extra wheels and some parts. Be careful it can become a sickness but I don't care.
