I have a 2011 Husaberg FE570 that I have had for about 3 years now. It only has 3389 miles on the odometer which is accurate. I don’t care for the 570 engine for very tight single track trail riding so I am doing an engine swap with an FE450 that I have that’s not street legal. I will be removing the Rekluse clutch and slave cylinder and putting the stock plates back in. I will also be keeping the throttlebody unless someone wants to make a good offer for it with the engine. I am asking $2000 plus shipping cost within the US 48 states for the engine.

There so many people wanting to swap out the smaller motor for a 570. Not only that consider selling the whole bike. In some countries they are rare and can pull in good money. Then buy the bike you want.

Thought I would let people that have contacted me about my 570 know that I am probably going to keep the 570. I put and a multi adjustable mapping switch that has helped a lot in tight trails. I may still considered selling the whole bike and replacing it with something else (like ALAN suggested) for the right price. But was thinking about riding it one more summer and see how it does in Colorado and Utah. It has the sub-frame tank, steering damper, for power core muffler, wrapped header pipe and guard, fold out mirrors, radiator fan,geo metro temperature switch, led tail light and rear blinkers & I have a Baja design squadron headlight that can go with it.

I used one of these on the my FE650 and it did help smooth out the low end.

I have a low hours fe450 engine that I want to swap out for a 570 so let me know if you’re still keen to do your swap?
