Hope somebody can help.
I had to solder the 4 red and white wires in the wiring harness under the fuel tank .
All went well pump primed everything good ,started up no problem .
I thought i would make sure it was a good soldering connection and soldered the wires well.In doing this i did not have the fuel tank on and it took a lot longer to solder .I had the fuel pump plug still connected to the relay when i was soldering and the light came on then off .
Now when i turn the bike on i put a blinker on and the headlight as well as putting the fuel tank back on.When i hit the ignition switch on the blinker comes on as well as the headlight just to make sure i have power to them but the bike won't start and the fuel pump isn't priming and as soon as i take my finger off the igntion button the blinker and the light go off straight away .
My question is have i damaged the relay or something else when i soldered the fuel pump wires in the wiring harnes without pulling the plug out from the relay.
Ive checked all fuses and nothing is blown.
