2011 Fuel Pumps - warranteed?

Hi, I've got a new 2011 FE570s, saw on another forum that the fuel pumps in these are bad and there's a fix w/ a better pump - is this something that they recalled for replacement or will warrantee?

They are warranted but don't hold your breath waiting for Husaberg to contact you.

I have a FE570S 2011, second time out the fuel pump did not work at all after riding the bike for a while. Got the bike home and it started right up. Contacted the dealer ( 3 brothers ) and they had no idea what the problem was. I emailed KTM america and mentioned the problem I had and that it would be better to replace the pump then get stranded again knowing it has a problem.
They did get back to me saying that some of the problem 2010 pumps may have gotten on some 2011 bikes and so they replaced it for no charge. If yours has not stopped working yet, then it may be okay.

If you take your bike to a real Husaberg dealer they should know to do a load test on the pump and replace under factory warrenty at no charge if they find a problem. There should be no reason to contact KTM.

Are the 2012 fuel pumps found to be any better? Or is the best option to purchase the aftermarket one to prevent me getting stuck in the bush?
