I'm planning on heading to Baja early next year. The plan is to avoid riding at night but I'd like to have serious lighting just in case... it'll be useful around here anyway.
I have a BD XL Pro headlight on the bike now, which I believe draws 40W. It appears the stock bulb is 35W so I'm drawing just a touch more than stock (probably counteracted by the LED tail light).
How much extra wattage do I have available?
