PERTH WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Can any tell me if they have changed the cam chain tensioner on this model to the previous models.
Also what map should i have programed in it as i am picking it up tomorrow im not getting a map switch so any idea will be good ,i live in perth australia about 30 degrees at the moment if thats any help .
And last but not least how to run it in.

I've been told that the tensioner was modified from the '10> model onwards and it is shown as a new part in the '10 bike parts list but I'm having isseues with mine. I'm going to be ordering one of these very shortly:

For running in just follow the oil change interval and advice in the handbook but don't baby it. I was told by my dealer that with no map switch fitted the default map is the aggressive one but looking at how the switch works and the settings in it the default map is probably standard. The soft map on the 570 is worth having in very wet slippery trail work.

I have heard of people changing the Cam chain tensioner's, I have not had any problems with mine yet and its the 09 model.
It will come in the standard map setting, you cant change it until you fit the after market map switch DONT buy the OEM one they are a waste of time and money, Convert your indicator switch or if you look on the forum i do believe someone else is now making one.
Enjoy your new toy, best investment i have done is putting a Rekluse clutch on the old girl :)
