Ok, I am really loving the berg. Just had a couple of questions. The manual shows 2 reserve volumes marking 1 2.6l marking 2 1.6l. I have not even seen the light come on so I have no idea what it means.
Second question- fuel filter. I installed a sock filter and been very careful about good clean fuel with stabilizer in it. The question- do I have an inline filter and should I upgrade to an aftermarket one? If so how often should I clean it?

thanks

I don't think the bike has an inline filter. If it does, it is inside the FI injection unit itself. I read the Aussie race teams blog on their bikes. They stated they had trouble with injectors clogging during their first season, then in the second season, the started running the Can-Am FI inline filter on their bikes and manages 50,000km without a plugged injector.

That was good enough for me. I bought the filter, two feet of high pressure hose, and new clamps. All total, I spent a little over $20. There are several sites on installing this filter. I did away with the quick disconnect, and wrapped the new metal filter in a piece of radiator hose so that it would be protected from the engine and from debris. I had to change out the line all the way to the injector, so I had to drain the coolant and remove the left radiator to get to the connector for the FI unit. It took a little over two hours to do the whole job with two trips to the parts store for the right clamps and hose.

I hope this helps. :)
