I don't t think that would work, plastic all around the bolt

It will just spin. There are flats on the inside of the collar that you need to hold with a wrench. A skinny wrench preffered, it's a tight fit.
That sif your taklking about the ones that go across the bike as opposed to vertical.

That aluminum slug that's in there serves two purposes, on the top it has an 8mm bolt for the subframe, and it has a 6mm on the bottom for your tail light holder. Take a 6mm bolt and throw a nut on it, put the 6mm bolt in this hole and spin the nut down to the slug and tighten it down. Now you should have a way to hold the aluminum slug while you unscrew the 8mm pan head on top.

Those bolts come with copious amounts of loc tite on them, you'll need to heat the bolt to release it, with your back up bolt on the bottom you should now be able to get the upper 8mm bolt out.

Then see if you can get some super glue down in around the slug to re attach it to the subframe. Get the slow cure kind of super glue to give it some time to penetrate down around the slug.

You could always put in a warranty claim. If Husaberg gets enough bad parts. It will give them incentive to fix the problem.

Sethro,
Just emailed head of HB tech department. He said we would warranty this. Which dealer did you buy your bike from? Premier? I will email them that you are coming in with the bike and that HB will warranty it. Email me your full name at: [email protected]
Sorry for the hassle.
Other than this....how do you like the bike?

WOW! Thanks Clay, yes I did get it from Premier. Just sent you a e-mail. I love the bike other than the lean issues and the bolt problem, I still have to get the suspension all sorted out but its coming around nicely for sure.
I am pretty stoked about this bike!!!!!

Hey Seth, that bolt may need you to hit straight down on with your t45 bit in it.
Smack it a couple times before trying to remove, then after you think you have
made it relax do it a couple more times for god measure, use a air gun with quick
burst's of the triger it might sucome to this.

Thanks Boss, I will give that a try, Premiere called and said they were going to get it changed out under warranty for me, so no more worries for me, man I love this bike, you were right about this bike in every way Boss, it is great!!!!!

dont forget to add a little grease to the threads when reinstalling...this will help prevent the same problem in the future.
