hhmmm I'm not optimitistic....................the damn Tooth Fairy has been ignoring me lately as well

though I know Santa has a 570 is his bag for me, so thats some consolation :twisted:

my prediction is we will see this at the 2011/12 Dakar but it will be orange in colour

An FX should be a wide ratio desert bike. Are you sure it's an FX and not an FC?

I'm only sure of what i was told.However if one wanted a wide ratio for such a task
the 570 is my pick! They have set the 450 up to a level I find perfect

P.S Ken I put the 7.9 gal safari tank on my 950! Very nice fit & look!!!

I don't think the "new" FX corresponds to the "old" FX meaning. Like BOSS said, I've heard that the new FX is basically going to be like the current KTM XC line--CC forks, CR tranny, with overall more aggresive suspension settings (stiffer) for GNCC type racing.

Sure catches my attention.

So what is the purpose of the upcoming FE390? Is the displacement reduced to fit into a different class, or is it going to be different, lighter bike?

I would have thought they would have kept what was coming for 2010 quiet at least until the 09's had been on the market a while longer.
