2010 Hberg FE390 Clutch Lever Assembly HELP

I am replacing the clutch master cylinder piston with the OEM repair kit. Have the kit, but I notice on the master cylinder has a small hole where it looks like a spring should sit. I don't remember one being there. I have photographed the hole (at the 6 oclock position on the master cylinder) and included a parts diagram for the assembly which doesn't show any sign of a spring etc...If you have a FE390 2010 (I'm sure the 450 and 570 will be the same) can you take a peak and see if you have spring there? It will only require that you peel back the boot and look between the lever and the body of the master cylinder. No disassembly required. Cheers Paul.

I did mine recently and the only spring in there is the return spring on the piston itself from memory (item 32 part on far left)

Not a problem, made sure there was no damage inside the cylinder, put a new piston kit in, bled it all and went for a squirt....havent had to think about it since!!!

Make sure you The right brake fluid look at manual. wrong brake fluid and the rubber will swell to the point that you may get leaks

Cool, Ive been thinking of using light weight synthetic fork oil.

The manual recommends iso vg 15 by motorex which is a mineral oil with anti oxidisation properties. So any 15 weight hydraulic oil with anti oxidant properties would suffice?
