I was out riding, heard a bang, thought "that doesn't sound good" and then about 5 minutes later the bike ground to a halt and has not started since. I've tested the electrical system. The stator, R/R readings were Ok and the ignition coil worked fine on another bike but there is no power from the ECU to the coil, suggesting that something in the ECU has blown. What can I do with an ECU that seems to have gone bang?
Can it be repaired? If so where and how much?
If not, where can I get a replacement for sensible money?
