Opinions Please....2010 Husaberg FE390 with 10.1 hours, Scotts damper and Rekluse EXP with adj slave. All original, plated/tagged, close and know the owner. Had fuel pump update and wrapped header. I am familiar with the 70*/slant and have put over 100hrs on an FE450. Also I have a ton of spares. he's firm at $5000USD.

Sounds real expensive. There is one for sale in South Africa with less than 100 hours for about $3000, and he cannot move it, nobody interested!

Yes, 10.1 hours. He bought as a leftover and just doesn't ride it. He has a bunch of bikes and this one just doesn't get ridden...at all. I fully understand the resale on these is horrible but it is local, I know the guy and bike, plus it's titled/tagged which is very important to me. He doesn't need the money and I have asked him about selling, he's not actively trying to sell.

I think the 70 slant bikes will be a kind of collector bike down the road. $5k sounds a bit high, but considering the low hours, extras and it's plated...maybe???

Buy it. 5k for 10 hrs with recluse is a good deal. The 390 is a much lighter feeling bike tgan the 450. Incredible in the tight stuff. I speak from experience. Not sure about the doubters above.

A few weeks ago I bought a 2011 390 for $5100.00.

Bike had 9 hours and 165 miles with bark busters, 3.2 gallon 70* tank, new lithium-ion battery, upgraded fuel pump, Husa skid plate, Husa rear shark fin, plated, well maintained.

The bike is incredible. I ride tight mountain and desert single track and the thing is like a mountain bike in terms of responsiveness, but not squirrelly at all.

I'd buy it. For something in a 4 stroke that's fuel injected you're looking at 2k more and you be riding a bike that everyone else and their brother has.

HUSA!

I would buy it as well! If I hadn't just bought a 2014 FE 250 I'd be interested as I originally wanted a 390. My 450 has over 200 hours and it's been the best bike ever. I'd love to have a recluse too buy it you won't regret it and RIDE it for cryin out loud. :p

Buy it If you love great off-road bikes that perform flawlessly, that are stone cold reliable and are unique. It is worth every penny. If you don't, please put me in contact with this person!

LadyBerg,
Thanks for the info.

If you want a Rekluse, have a new in the box/never installed RMS-827 ZStart Pro that will fit all 70* in the classified section. Ship US only.

how is your experience with the Lithium-ion battery? any thoughts so far?
i am thinking of buying one, for weight savings mostly

I have a 2011 390. Paid 4900 2 years ago with 30 hours on in and like new. Great bike and a little unique. Won't be riding "orange"like so many. ( I'm a ktm rider also. 300 xcw. Lol)

So far, so good. I've only had the bike for a little while, but I haven't had any issues and I do like the weight savings.

Well to chime in here...I also have a lion battery and they are really nice but no so tolerant of cold below 40 prox. But remember a couple of pounds isn't really going to make that much difference unless you're a world class rider ;)

I can't recommend Shorai for a few reasons, one of them is not water proof. But there are more brands out there.

Got one for my -08. Incredibly light. But not as consistent in The long run. I have to kick when cold. Otherwise it runs out of juice to fast. I would buy at least one bigger size then recomended. Or have a bike that starts very easy
