2010 fe 570 Registration Issue??

I am thinking about buying this bike, but, while it is now in CA it is registered in AZ.

So far, the owner hasn't been able to find the label which would state the CA endorsement, if it is a 50-State bike. Without it, CA registration becomes a problem.

Does anyone know how likely it is that this is a 50-State bike?

I'm trying to save myself a 2 hr drive, if it isn't; but, I will drive out, if I have too, to find out for myself.

Thanks for any help.

570's r cool :)

wish i knew about CA registration but its a bit of a mystery to this foreigner :) iirc tho the 570 was at least *available* in ca, it was a very "registerable" model afaik

570 registration has been discussed here, might find something there! Husaberg 70 Degree Owners Thread! - ADVrider

wouldn't hurt to ask there either - big and good owners thread ... more technical information on the 70-deg. bikes has tended to accumulate here so both are god :)

might try calling an AZ dealer and see if they can shed some light

the 2011 fe570 is the only year that is 50 state legal.I have heard of other years getting the ca plate, but technically its not legal.

Whew, tks guys, because the owner is saying "no problem". But he hasn't gotten back to me after I asked for a pic of the label stating that the bike complies with CA standards.
