2010 FE 450 100 mile report

I purchased this bike about 2 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. To anybody out there that that doesn't think the blue kool-aid is for real, well they're wrong. It's everything the hype says and then some. I have owned mostly KTM's in the past with the last being a 2009 300 XCW. This bike has it beat in several ways ; 1) smooth power with perfect EFI. I have put and left the map switch on #2 aggressive and have added FMF Power core 4 straight-thru muffler with spark arrestor. I did not want the heat of the stock muffler during break-in. 2( Suspension and handling Better than my 300 XCW Maybe because of the weight but not deflection off roots and rocks with handling just as good and feels light in tight woods riding. The front sticks in the woods. I have 2 woods rides and 1 shorter desert ride on so far and stability in desert whoops is excellent IMO. Also my KTM had $950 top of the line suspension work. 3) fit and finish maybe even better than KTM. Same assembly line? Possibly part of the finish could be my excellent dealer where purchased from Tasky's Metric Cycle in Everett,WA about 2 hrs. from where I live. He's the same who straightened everybody out at first on the "competition" map when the 2010's first came out. Well I could go on and I'm probably missing some awesome detail. I'm completely saisfied so far. Thank you Husaberg and Jeff Tasky.
