Looki,

Just as well you got the 390 then!
i enjoyed your good report as the tightest stuff will always tell what a bike is really capable of.
i guess you will have some great areas to ride where you are.
We have Wales which is good but its getting harder to find land to ride in the UK.

I tried both 'soft/beginner' and 'aggressive' today on the pavement and a little off pavement (once I got back in the area I switched to 'soft').

I don't notice that much difference until the upper end, and even then it isn't a big difference. Maybe I am just used to the Ducati, but I wouldn't describe the bike as a 'rocket' as some do - it has plenty of power, but I've ridden smaller two strokes that jerk your arms out of their sockets they hit so hard, and the 570 isn't like that - it is just very linear - at least mine is.

For now I will just use 'soft' off-road and 'aggressive' on road.
