MH motorräder in Germany have built this BEAUTY for their team racer Jochen Jasinski.

Two akro cans are hanging from a custom built subframe that have replacd the plastic original one.

I knew someone would buid it, I thought it would be done using a steal subframe and I thought a german would be first. Well, I'm 3 for 3 :D

hmmm but why ?? why the extra weight etc ?? how much advantage is it ?

i can't really understand the logic either?
twin port head like ours....yes,that sounds logical a twin system might be an advantage, but single port head going into twin system???
must be more for looks, probably trying to be different?

It is crucial in supermoto racing to keep noise down and power up. The way to do this is to increase the sound reducing volume. Simple as that.
Single muffler will need a really small outlet to reduce noise but that will also reduce power. My bike with a twin system makes more power and less noise compared to the older full akro titanium system. Some will argue that the older bikes have twin ports in the head and that makes a difference. I agree to that but nevertheless twin mufflers is good for you.

I'm not sure that it does weigh more than the stock system. Remember the akro pipes are made of titanium.

I think it's hard to get more power out of a single can and still keep down the sound level. But for sure it's probably for the looks also.

Single port and twin exhaust can be found on a number of bikes, TM and KTM factory bikes for example.

Sound Level

Stationary measurement
Max sound level four stroke engines: 2009: 94 dB(A), 2010: 92 dB(A).
Engine @ 4.000 rpm, microphone behind the bike on a level with muffler,
45° off the center-line , 0.5 meter (1.6 ft) distance.

Passing measurement
Max sound level: 2009: 101 dB(A), 2010: 98 dB(A).
Microphone placed at a distance of 7 meter (23 ft) to center-line of racetrack,
1 meter (3.3 ft) above ground.

makes sense.
sound laws are not really enforced around here.... yet.
forgot about the rest of the world..sorry

Wow!!!:bounce: Every month something new in the race set up growth. =D>

Looks awesome, bet it sounds it too !
For weight, one titanium can weighs less than 2 titanium cans ;)

but wont produce the same power at the lower noise limits as 2 cans

Hy all!

Sb. knows, where can I get a brutal "gabelbrücke" like this black one on Jasinski's bike?

Only the Berg!

Thanks for the reply! But the triple clamp on Jasinski's bike looks more harder stuff like these two, I think so..=)

call MH-Motorräder.
Markus is selling the clamps JJ is using.
U can see them in his online-store.
