Looking to get your CG a little closer to your RC eh? Bikes haven't been out long enough to have extra engines around but good luck.
30K is a bit out of our price range at the moment but I'll keep that in mind. We are just looking to go away from our current turbocharged Honda f4i and trying to find something that will help cut weight and improve the dynamics of the vehicle more. I know they are new engines but they have a lot of potential for other applications. We'd like to get atleast one engine asap so we can start testing our DI system we've designed. Should be a fun time!
Does anyone know if it's actually possible to order just a engine from a dealership?
Maybe try these guys. A stock engine if found would probably be in the 4-5K range.

We are located in the Detroit area. Thanks for the link, I'll check them out. We have thought about parting out a bike but that would a last resort if we absolutely can't find just engines. It's going in our 2011 vehicle so we still have time to try and find engines. CAD modeling will have to do for now.
if you do buy any bikes to part out im interested in some of the chassis and body parts for spares
The new type engine is out there, I picked up a 450 as a spare earlier this year off ebay. :cheers:
