Why waste the power when you can go with a HID light? I have the Trailtech X2 HID system on my 2009 'berg. works very well and only draws 35W.

I don't know why it wouldn't. Mounting kit uses the pins on the fender plus straps around the fork tubes to mount. There's even a pin plate for fenders which don't have them.
