2009 Fe450 Indicators

Is it much hassle to wire up Indos to a 09 fe450? I have the genuine switch still in its packaging and some indos that I am looking to mount just to the rear of the bike. Before I start ripping the rear end of the bike apart and I may as well ask to see how easy or awkward this could be.
