I found the two wires under tank ( by frame ) . I hooked to them and made them longer . I tried to hook to a horn , but it does not work ? I have the blue button , next to my stock red kill button . How do I get horn to work ?

Look at my FE570S the 2 wires for the horn looks like yellow/blue and gray. It work with key on engine not running also works with it running. Let me know if you need more. On mine the bike doesn't have to be running I know because I tried it key on it works.

Bike has to be on/running for the horn to work, and its a possibility the horn button is not working 100%....the button on mine you have to press a certain way for it to work!!

THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I only try it with it running , no BEEP . Will take button apart soon , to see if its dirty inside !! Does it matter how you hook up the 2 wires ???????

If it doesnt work one way, try the other way. But from memory i dont think it matters

Try the horn off the bike to see if it works. Test it with a battery

THANKS !! Have not had a chance to work on it yet , but great ideas !

I have similar issues with the horn on my '09 FE450. It has to be running for the horn operate. The CEV switch can be flakey (mine works sometimes). Like others suggested test the horn on a known 12v power source to eliminate it from the probably. Also test your jumper wire you built for the horn (it could be faulty). The wires do not care which way they are connected.
