Hi All. Hopefully this serves as my introduction as well. I have been on a 2009 450fe for 2 years now. Epic bike done some great riding in NZ. The bike is coming up on 230h and has run without fault. Had the clearence checked months ago and was perfect. I dont do hard riding since im quite average. Im just trying to guage when I can expect to do a rebuild? Anything else like shocks need checking? I have been doing plugs oils filters bearings but not much more. Thanks for any input! Cheers
I concur. No need to open up the engine before 500h unless something out of the ordinary or you start to get some kind of symptoms.
It can however be a good idea to tear the bike down so you can grease up stems and have a closer look at the loom. After 45h I normally find atleast one rubbed cable.
