2008 FE-550 Rear wheel "cross match" or build

Hey folks
want to get spare wheels for my '08 550

Questions: From what I have searched and read here, KTM sets from '04 on will fit
Correct?

or
same on the parts if I wanted to go build my own
KTM - hubs, spokes, rim sets etc?

others may know better but I'd say that KTMs from 2002 onwards will fit - two years earlier.

Hello.
Have used Husaberg -91 rearwheel on a friends -07 450.

( In case it is useful, then KTM rear wheels bolt up on DR-Z400s and front wheels can be made to fit. It must work in reverse as well? And cross over to 'Bergs? So if you find a cheap DR-Z set then that might be useful?
