I’m selling a street legal 2007 Husaberg FE550. It has installed supermoto wheels and a dirt set up.

It comes with a lot of extras. The supermoto set up has a 320 mm rotor, Brembo brakes front and rear, a new rear fender (the old one that is on there is broken), XPC comfort seat, Tusk foot pegs, a radiator fan, misc. gaskets, a repair manual, Husaberg skid plate, BRP chain guide, misc. electronic extras, a few air filter baskets, a set of Michelin pilot tires, 3 extra countershaft sprockets, and some other misc. parts.
I bought it around 1 month ago with a seized engine. Come to find out, a valve adjusting net fell into the engine and seized the timing chain. The timing chain has been replaced along with all of the intake and exhaust valves and appropriate gaskets. After it was all put back together, they re-plumbed the intake ports on the top of the head. They said it was smoking a little but it still has plenty of compression though so they weren’t really sure why. There is some oil under the motor but I’m not sure where it’s coming from. It has a kick starter and an electric starter. The electric won’t kick it over by itself so you still need to kick start it. I’m don’t feel like really messing with it anymore so I’m going to sell it as is.

I’m asking $2,750 or best offer for everything. The bike is located in Bowling Green KY, USA.

Update, I've attached a few pics of the re-plumbing I was talking about. I rode it like the previous owner had it set up and it shot oil all over the motor and exhaust which was causing a lot of the smoke. I put the Y hose back on and it helped a lot. There is still a small oil leak somewhere though. It looks like there might be oil where the air filter is. In terms of starting, it cranks and sounds like it wants to start using only the electric starter, but I don't think the battery is strong enough to kick if over even after charging. It does start though using the kick starter and electric start in conjunction with each other.
99.5 hours on this bike.
