I am currently sourcing aftermarket gauges to put on my 2007 FE550E.
I have searched the site, and the internet, but have not found definitive answers to these questions:
1) Does the ignition have a rev limiter?
2) If yes, to what RPM is the engine limited?
3) If no, to what RPM should one self limit the RPM to avoid engine damage?
4) Does the ignition fire the spark plug every revolution of the crankshaft, or every 2 revolutions of the crankshaft? Some old threads stated that earlier bikes with the SEM ignition did fire the spark plug every revolution of the crankshaft, but I have not found this info yet for the Kokusan ignition.
