2006 WEC 496 - value?

Folks
any idea what my 2006 Bjorne Carlsson fe496 wec bike is worth? This one has the factory modified frame, the slim aluminum tank, and the factory built 496 motor (sleeved down 550). The bike is in great shape still.

I got $4600 out of mine 2 years ago. It was REALLY loaded,had a BOSS tank and under seat tank as well. Had about 120 hours on it. No modified frame though. It was supposed to be Jimmy Lewis's bike for the 2006 WEC North America rounds. I'm sure I could get it back for $3500-4000.

Thanks for the info. I need to make room in the garage for other toys. The classifieds on UHE seem kind of sparse, maybe I'll try Craigslist.

I have a 2006 FE 450 rode by Valttrei Salowen in North America, Altered frame Ti exhaust aluminum Tank, not that it is for sell but would not let it go for under $5000.00.

Find another one out there.

Wow, I had no idea the old steed was worth that much still. Mine still has all the trick bits on it that Bjorne had when he raced it (except the rented WP Factory race suspension). Berger, how may I ask did you sell it? Most every bike I have sold over the last 20 yrs has gone word of mouth, since I tend to sell well maintained steeds.

It went to a fellow ATR club member. Word of mouth or local forums work best for me. I don't like the general public coming over kicking tires and making insulting offers.
Put it up in the UHE classifieds....nothing to lose.

You might want to try and track down Lee Fryberger in Alberta. He is starting some kind of Husaberg museum and is looking for a WEC bike. www.cornergrass.com
