2006 Fuel Tank & Shrouds

Hey Everybody,

For anyone interested in updating to look of your late model Husaberg, MotoXotica has 3 of the new style '06 fuel tank (yellow), shrouds and graphics in stock. Pictures do not do these items justice. Also the shrouds no longer use the good old wood screw for attaching to the tank. It now uses a nice 8mm head bolt set-up with brass inserts in the tank.

I have ordered a new '06 fuel tank (Dark blue/black) and shrouds from the Super Motard models for my bike as well as the new style tail light/fender extension for my '02 FE501e. I'm looking forward to their arrival soon.

How much are those tanks? I wouldn't mind replacing my blue 2k tank, once I get it running.

Are you sure they are 8mm? 6mm is the standard and 8mm would be huge. I too hate those wood screws that they use on KTM tanks. The same people make the tanks for KTM and Husky too.

You will have to contact Dan or Ann at MotoXoctica for the cost of the Fuel tank and shrouds. I gave Dan a $300 deposit and a list of parts I wanted and will pay the difference upon arrival.

As for the tank/shroud bolts, I'm not exactly sure of the shaft size of the threads, but at a glance the bolt head looks to be 8mm. Could be smaller. Either way, no more wood screws!!!

:roll: ossaman they still use wood screws two of them are 6mm
heads & one phillips. no info is better than wrong info!

The screws must be covered by the seat because I did not see any. Only reporting what I saw, so please don't shoot the messenger.
