Just going through the 2006 owners manual looking for torque values reviewing main. and it states all FS models have dampened rear hub. I was told by the dealer and a few others that 2006 doesn't have it. Does anyone know for sure? I wish the bike was here so I could have a look myself. I am glad I didn't buy those new wheels if it already has a cush hub...

If you are talking about the competion model "c" (no headlight, only a number plate) then it probably does not have a cush drive no matter what year it was made. Miy '05 FS650c definitely has no cush drive but I made it road legal and use it primarily on tarmac with no problems. It can outrun the new KTM 690 supermotos as it is about 50 lbs. lighter.
