Hey there

I left my mint condition bike outside in bad winter weather for 3 months. Going to replace the sprockets and chain as that's the only thing that appears to be rusted badly. Just wondering what I should fix or check on my bike after it being out for
for so long. Thanks !

I once bought a 1979 RM 125 that sat outside for a number of years, went through the hole bike, less the motor, changed the oil and put a plug in it four or five kicks later it started.
Big old four stroke maybe a whole different animal after a winter in the snow.
Is it still rotating?
Does it have fire?
the Carb will need to be addressed
Gas tank cleaned.
Did it have antifreeze in it?
Check the oil for water?
All bearing, wheel, swing arm steering head bearings.
Good luck you may just get lucky.

Hey Fedge

Yea the bike kicked over fine after some backfiring. I'm going to change the oil and oil filter as its due for one anyways. Do you know where the antifreeze goes on this bike? Lost my manual and can't find anything online about antifreeze and what do you mean by addressing the carb? Thanks man
