I just picked up a 2006 Husaberg FE450E and am working on the rear light and brake light.
I am getting 16 volts at the running light which is so bright that the brake light is not seen. I replaced a bad brake pressure switch. When the lights are off the brake light is fine. The brake light voltage does not increase the visible light. What voltage should I be getting for the rear running light? I would assume it should be 12 volts and possibly 16 volts to the brake filament but when I tried swapping the bulb polarity the brake filament it blew which told me 16 volts to the brake will not work.
I apologize for the possible confusing description.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
