Usually by now some news in leaked on the new models. Anyone know what the 2005s will have. Rumours at one stage were fuel injection allowing fuel tank to be where carbi is and seat lower and across the top where fuel tank is, but I will wait until I see that? I think the idea was scrapped. Have heard nothing for the 2005 model yet?

I too have heard that rumour but I think it's just that.. (unfortunately)

There is a company selling fuel injection kits for yz450's. They wanted like $3,500 US. I cant remember the website for the life of me.

When development was still in Röfors there were some work done in adding FI as early as the last century. But it was scrapped, why I don't know but cost is probably a factor...

FI for the 2005 I don't think is possible because of the new carbs on the 2004 model. Feels lite the Keihin must "live" at least a couple of years before anything happens there.

I've heard some rumours about the 2005 but I'll keep most of them to myself until I can get them confirmed. One thing I _think_ will come is a new headlight with a more slim design.

Please Jocke_D if you have heard something don't hold back tell us. We can confirm accuracy later..

FYI:
The late nineties prototype FI Husaberg was a disaster. It proved bulky, complex, fragile and no more efficient than a carburetor.

If you simply must have an FI Husaberg their are indeed many options.
Simply be willing to dig deep regarding your bank account. :D

Sincerely,
Dale

A headlight that looks like this I bet. Swingarm looks familiar as well.
